The PPSSPP emulator will accept game image files that have been archived in either ISO or CSO formats. If you have properly backed up the game and archived it in ISO format, there's no need to extract anything.

However, if you had downloaded the game and it's in either zip or winrar file format, you'll need to use winzip or winrar in order to extract the files. Both of these programs are available as free trial ware and you can get them here:

Even though you can extract files from an ISO file, you should not do so. The thing is that the emulator utilizes a single ISO or CSO file. Open the PPSSPP emulator and then click "Load..." to open the ISO file.

How can I install PPSSPP apk file in my laptop?

I want to play PSP games in my laptop Win7 32bit

You cannot run Android (APK) files on your laptop, as it needs a Windows version of the emulator. To install the Windows version of the emulator, please go to http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html and click the blue download button to the right of "PPSSPP for Windows". For your version of Windows, you will need to run "PPSSPPWindows.exe" once you extract the ZIP file (you can use just double-click the ZIP file in your Windows Explorer and click and drag the "PPSSPP" folder to any location on your HDD to extract it).

There are two .exe apps. Just downloaded PPSSPP and I am confused?

I just download the latest version of PPSSPP and I noticed that there were two .exe apps: PPSSPPWindows.exe and PPSSPPWindows64.exe. Is there a difference between the two?

If your Windows OS is with 64Bit then you need to download the PPSSPPWindows64.exe, otherwise download the first one. To check what version you have, click on the start button, locate 'Computer', Right click on it, then select 'Properties'. Now on the shown window, look for 'System Type', there you will see if it is 32Bit or 64Bit OS.
