Questions and Answers

I have Samsung Galaxy S5 active and I tried to take a picture underwater, (only about 4 inches under the surface). about 30 seconds after I pulled it out the screen went black. All sounds and lights still work accordingly just the screen is black. I immediately removed the back and found water inside the back of the phone. I removed the battery and put it in rice overnight to no avail. What should I do now?

My Galaxy S5 was plugged in on the original charger. The phone 'rang' and when I looked at it the screen was black. I pushed the Home button to no avail. I unplugged it and still had the unresponsive black screen, but with the blue missed call indicator flashing. I removed the battery, replaced it and rebooted the phone. When it starts up it shows a white pixellated screen, does its usual bootup noises, then goes dark. When I push the Home button the 'all apps' and back buttons illuminate, but nothing works. I have tried: I detailed all of that in my question details. I think it was caused by: Absolutely no idea.

Since my last software update, my S5 doesn't mute when faced down?

S5 doesn't mute when faced down. I think it started since my last update. And once in a while, the ringtones to different contacts go to default. I have tried: On and off. took the battery out. restart. tried resetting the face down mode. I think it was caused by: Latest update maybe?!?!
