I have transfered a zip file from another computer to a USB stick and when I want to access it on my computer, it doesn't show?

What should I do to retrieve the file?

USB Stick will not open files or show anything - although it's full?

Hi there, I was using my USB stick today and it was working fine. When I came back from lunch it was showing files but they there were all wacky symbols and stuff. Now none of my files will show up.. . I have already run an virus scan and nothing is showing up. I've also checked to see if the files are hidden and they are not either. When I click properties it shows the USB stick is almost full but no files are showing up still :(. Everything in the article shows to type CMD and then a code but this will not work. Not sure if there is an updated way to solve this problem.
