With the default SMS app, there's a strict 160 character limit before a message will be converted to an MMS message. You can try downloading and using an app like Go SMS Pro as an alternative, which might afford you a few more characters in your messages.

Whenever I intend sending an SMS, it is always converting to MMS?

When I try to send and SMS of more than 200 characters, it is converting to MMS. It's OK, I can't send any SMS, please I need your assistance
