Questions and Answers

I have received a video from WhatsApp but it's not playing. The message I am getting is to ask the sender to send it again since it's no longer available. Why?

This often happens when the network your phone is connected to is slow and cannot transfer the entire video file, or when your phone freezes while trying to load the video. The reason you can't play it again is because you are only allowed one play per video; once you try to load it, regardless of if it actually does load, WhatsApp counts it as your play and you are not allowed to play it again. If you're in an area with bad reception, move to an area with better reception and try to get the sender to send the video again. If that doesn't work, your phone is likely freezing when it uses WhatsApp. Uninstall WhatsApp and then redownload it from the Windows Phone Store. This should solve your issue. If not, you may need to contact WhatsApp to file a bug report; and you should also contact the manufacturer of your phone so they can help WhatsApp fix the bug, as well.
