I don't really have a question?

I have had issues being able to sing for a few years now due to the sensation of having a lump in my throat and lots of sinus drainage. I learned how to relax using deep breathing recently and I have been in Physical therapy for a neck issue due to a car accident and as it happens those two things have combined to allow me to be able to sing the best ever this afternoon. So I indulged myself and sang probably more than I should have. I was looking for what I should do to relax my vocal chords. I was considering doctors prior to this, now I may just wait.

What food and beverage do I need to avoid while I am on vocal rest? I have nodules?

I have strep a lot and I was concerned about my vocal chords. When I went to the ENT he found nodules on my vocal chords. He put me on a 2-3 weeks of vocal rest. Last night I was sleeping and my snoring was so deep it made my mouth come open and I felt like I was choking. I sleep with the air conditioner on. When I woke up this morning my tonsils feels super swollen. It hurts to swallow. Do you think I have made the nodules inflamed? Help! I am miserable.

I don't think my voice is completely damaged but I feel the years of coffee and cola have contributed to my vocal range lessening an octave?
