I forgot my PIN for my S4, How do I recover it?
What can I do to recover my contacts?
You can navigate to the Find My Mobile service, log in with your Samsung account, and unlock the smartphone by clicking "Protect my device" > "Unlock my screen" > "Unlock". Reboot the smartphone if needed.
If for some reason you cannot unlock the smartphone with your Samsung account, then you might want to know that your contacts are automatically synchronized with the Google account. You can check what contacts you have stored by navigating to https://contacts.google.com. Do not forget to log in with your Google account if needed. These contacts will be carried over to the next Android smartphones or factory-reset smartphones as soon as you enter your user name and password. You may also have a back-up of contacts (if you have done so) on your microSD card and in Kies on your computer. Factory-resetting your S4 will keep all of the contacts in the Google account, microSD card, and Kies, which will allow you to get them after a hard reset (you can learn how to reset your smartphone here). In Kies, just click "Backup and Restore", then check your contacts to restore them. For the contacts stored on the microSD card, open the Contacts application and press the menu button to use the "Import/Export" function.
