I forgot my Privacy Protection password, I tried with zeros and numbers till six and nothing. I never changed it; I had to put it only once and never again and now is asking that from me. I don't want to do a hard reset because with that I will lose files that I need. Could you help me?. I have tried: Trying with passwords like 0000, 000000, 1234 and 123456. I think it was caused by: I put out my SIM card from a phone, but I think that could not cause a problem because I have done that so many times and never came to this.
You triggered the phone's security when you removed the SIM Card. If the password is not working, you can try to use the methods posted in the VisiHow article below to recover your phone. You still may have to hard reset the phone, and if asked again to input the password, you will have to flash new firmware and ROM on the phone. In the article below it does discuss ways to back up your data but if the security lock down activated the USB lock, you will not be able to root the phone to transfer.
