I forgot my privacy password and now I want to unlock it without resetting my Android?
Only want to unlock my Android device without resetting. I have tried: I entered so many times wrong password. I think it was caused by: I have been trying to change my Android SIM
- 2Log in with your Google email that you have assigned to the phone.
- 4Click the Start option
- 5Request a generated password.
- 6You should now be able to use that generated password if your device synced properly.
I forgot my mobile anti-theft. Doing two-time hard reset and the anti-theft still active. its still asking me a password and lock down my phone whenever I try to set up screen lock pattern or password?
I'm using China made a phone, Blackview Y836_A1_Acme. I did turn on the mobile anti-theft long ago but recently when I change to new SIM card it's asking the anti-theft password. It forced me to do a hard reset. It's gone but when I try to set new security pattern lock(for screen lock) its suddenly asking me my anti-theft password and I do a second hard reset. It's gone and when I check in the security setting the mobile anti-theft is still active even twice did a hard reset. I can't really remember which original SIM I use when I activated the anti-theft. I also try the method by sending SMS #mima# and #unlock# but it's not working at all. Please help me. Do I really need to reflash firmware and ROMs???

I forgot my Privacy Protection password. I want to avoid a hard reset. Can you help me?
I forgot my Privacy Protection password, I tried with zeros and numbers till six and nothing. I never changed it; I had to put it only once and never again and now is asking that from me. I don't want to do a hard reset because with that I will lose files that I need. Could you help me?. I have tried: Trying with passwords like 0000, 000000, 1234 and 123456. I think it was caused by: I put out my SIM card from a phone, but I think that could not cause a problem because I have done that so many times and never came to this.
You triggered the phone's security when you removed the SIM Card. If the password is not working, you can try to use the methods posted in the VisiHow article below to recover your phone. You still may have to hard reset the phone, and if asked again to input the password, you will have to flash new firmware and ROM on the phone. In the article below it does discuss ways to back up your data but if the security lockdown activated the USB lock, you will not be able to root the phone to transfer.
How To Fix System Manager App Lock Password Reset Without Factory Resetting?
I am using Infinix Hot 3 smartphone. When it was still new, I decided to use app lock from the system manager application, I turned it on and created a password and selected specific applications to be locked. After some time I switched the app lock off with no problem. Today I switched on the app lock again and it is asking me for my old password, which I do not remember and there is no option to click forgot password. All the apps I selected the first time have been locked, and I can not access them. How do I resolve this? please urgently without losing any data on my phone, thank you.
Hard reset your device. Yes, you will lose images and other saved items. If you can't remember the password, there is no way to remove this without a hard reset. One trick, not sure if it works on an Infinix, is to uninstall all the apps that you locked. Then reinstall them and see if they are still locked. This worked for me with a Moto X Play.
