I forgot my old phone number and now I have more than one Google account, I would like to find one of mine or just start fresh?

I would like to find one of my Google account or start fresh with a new one, but get rid of old ones? HELP. It doesn't work when I try, I can't reset this phone as it isn't mine, and I'm not very good with these things. I have tried: An old phone number I remember, I forgot to try and under my name they didn't find anything? I think it was caused by: Lost a phone, had another one stolen, changed phone numbers, didn't write down the Google account just not being use to these things, then trying by myself to start fresh, I'm afraid.
