My Sony Xperia Play broke a few months back and it has been repaired but upon opening it I discovered my unlock code was different after a few failed attempts a message on screen appeared saying you have entered your unlock pattern please wait 30 seconds to enter it again (and yes I meant to say pattern) and its not giving me an option to unlock it through a Google account?

I should mention it was me who fixed my phone and it was a flex cable problem

Moto 3G reset, because of lost home button and alerts. Now I can't sign in after reboot?

My Moto 3G has ran out of space, so I deleted various apps. It then lost its notifications and the home button refuses to work normally. All calls go straight to answerphone, and can't reach settings via swipe down. So pretty useless for most normal purposes - a factory reset was recommended by shop geek. Trouble is, it won't let me sign in now. Just in a sign-in loop. There is not a satisfactory solution in the answer given here. I have tried: I have ensured that I am using the right password for the account, via laptop and iPad. I have rebooted the phone. I think it was caused by: I am really not sure. I removed various apps to create space as phone was refusing to save things. (I do have a microSD for photos and music). Some people seem to think this is caused by an update to Marshmallow, but I am not clear if this can have happened without me activating it.
