I do not remember my Google account username or password?
My kids locked me out of my phone. It's a ZTE Midnight Z990G.
If you don't remember your Google account username and password, you can go to this website to try to recover it. Once you've retrieved your information, enter the wrong passcode on your phone up to 20 times. Your phone will then ask you for your Google account information; when you enter it, your phone will unlock, allowing you to change the password back to something you remember.
If you can't recover your Google account information, you will, unfortunately, need to perform a Factory Reset. This procedure will wipe all of the data from your phone, but it's the only way you can unlock your phone so that you can use it again. To learn how to perform a proper Factory Reset, follow the steps in this in-depth VisiHow article. Once the process has completed, be sure to log into your phone with a Google account to which you know the username and password. You should also put a passcode lock on your phone yourself so you can prevent your kids from locking you out again the future.
My LG Tribute 2 phone had a master reset?
My boyfriend master reset my phone, and now we can't log in to Google because it won't accept my passwords and takes us back to the WiFi screen.
You can recover your LG Tribute 2 by using Google Account Recovery. The process is explained in the VisiHow article on this page Recover Android Device in case of Forgot Password/Pattern Unlock an Android device. If the phone is not connected to WiFi, this may be your issue, and you will have to root the phone.

Factory reset of a MyTouch LG by T-mobiles?
Hi, well, I have been trying to do a factory reset of my LG phone but with no success. Here are the tries that I have given so far. 1- I try a hard reset by pressing both power and down volume buttons but unfortunately for me it wasn't successful. I read somewhere that when you press both buttons simultaneously, after a certain moment if the LG logo appears, then the factory reset must have been successful but in my case, it didn't work because after pushing on the phone. I was stuck with the Google account sign in again.. 2 - I try reinstalling a new firmware, but when I connect my phone to my machine, I'm asked to enable USB connection and data transfer. As the phone is blocked, I 'm unable to do both actions. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks very much.
Remove the battery and after reinserting attempt again to hold the power and - volume at the same time. Sometimes you have to hold this for more than 30 seconds before the LG logo appears. You will have to try to recover your Google password with the methods in the VisiHow article because your phone is locked and that is why you can't root the phone. It has gone into protection mode locking down the USB transfer function. Please refer to the YouTube video posted in the answer below.

Can I unlock my LG665? It does not work with hard reset?
Did a hard reset and it still tells me to sign in with Google account
If you did not see the LG Logo and go into recovery mode then you did not do the hard reset correctly. LG has provided the steps to take and if you did not hit the power/lock button after releasing it when the logo appeared then you did not do a proper hard reset.

Hi, I have an LG G4 and I did a hard reset but now its asking me for a Google account which I do not know since I bought the phone from a flea market?
How can I bypass this Google account and just add another one. I have tried: Hard reset. I think it was caused by: I did not know the Google account
If the phone is on a Lollipop 5.1 unfortunately, this can get tricky. You can try the method posted above in the YouTube video by RootJunkie and see if that works because for some LG G4's it has. Otherwise, you can take the phone to someone and see if they can flash new firmware on the phone.
What is the LG D410 pattern unlock system?

The steps to hard resetting your LG D410 are explained above with other LG phones. First, try using your Google Account associated with the phone to unlock the device before hard resetting. That is explained in the VisiHow article on this page.

Anyway to bypass the Google account login after resetting a device?
I work for a wholesaler for used cell phones. We have a few Droid Turbos that after being reset to make sure all data was cleared ask for the previous Google account login. I need a way to bypass this menu as whatever Google account was used on these devices I do not have access to the original owner. Anyway to get around this?
This Youtube Tutorial created by Giaimadidong.vn shows you how to bypass Google on a 5.1 Lollipop version phone. There is another video as well by RootJunkie you can look into. As a wholesaler for used cell phones, you should be aware that phones with Lollipop 5.1 will need to use this method each time as they have enabled the security features in hard reset to be tripped.
