How does one bypass the Android 5.1 security feature?

I purchased an Alcatel TracFone for my grand-daughter as a present for good grades. She forgot her passcode and asked me what to do. I have always believed that a factory reset will cure most ills. Not this time. We did the factory reset and it asks for WiFi...so we log into WiFi. Then it asks for the previous Google account synced with this device. There was none. But we entered EVERY Gmail address we know it could have possibly been. No luck. Basically, this phone is a brick?

Was this helpful? Yes | No | I need help

Use one of these Youtube Tutorials. The reason why there is a list of them is because the steps are slightly different depending on which Alcatel phone your granddaughter has. When you set up the phone this time, create a Google Account and save it on a piece of paper. You will need this anytime the phone needs to be hard reset or to bypass a locked device.

My Android device denies my Gmail address was the one I synchronized before after resetting?

I forgot my Android lock password (not the pattern, the number password)

then it locked itself and I reset it

now when I open it asks for the language, which is fine; then it asks to join the WiFi, it is also fine, but after that it asks to join the Gmail address to complete the process but I try to log in and there is no problem with the password but my phone denies it was the same Gmail address that I synced to this device and I'm sure it is because its my only address. but the phone denies it, so that is where I come to a deadlock.

the devices model is Samsung j5

I tried to reset the device using the power up button and the lock button but it doesn't make a difference.

also, I removed the battery and the SIM card and etc but it also doesn't work.

please help.

Check your Google Account to make sure that 2 Step verification was not enabled. If it was not, then the sync failed before you hard reset the device. Go to YouTube and search bypass Google FRP with your specific device name to gain access to your phone again.

First, login to the Google Account on the PC to see if your 2 Step Verifacation is enabled and stopping you from using the Google Account on the device. Second, if you hard reset the phone you can bypass the Google FRP and gain access within about 15 minutes. This is way better than 72 hours!
