I can't open my 7-inch Android Tablet. It's stuck up on a black screen. How to fix it? Thanks.

Fixing Android Tablet, I can't even update its Android version.

If the Tablet froze on a black screen while you were using it, hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Then, restart your device. It should turn back on and let you use it again.

If that doesn't work, or if your Tablet froze on a black screen while it was booting up and you can't get past it every time you restart your device, you will have to perform a Factory Reset. To learn how to perform a Factory Reset, follow the steps in this great VisiHow article. Remember that this method will wipe all of the data from your Tablet; however, it's the only thing you can do to remove a boot loop.

If after these two steps your Tablet still doesn't boot up to Android, some of your internal hardware may be malfunctioning. Call the manufacturer of your Tablet to schedule a repair.
