How can I unlock my Redmi 3s from child lock mode and have free access to all my applications?

I have just a particular unlock pattern to all applications on my phone, was acquainting myself with my phone and I mistakenly pushed the child lock which hid nearly all my important apps and now is asking me for an unlock pattern I tried my usual pattern but it keeps saying the wrong pattern. Please, how can I exit this child lock mode? Mine is kind of different because I tried the proffered solution, but upon booting of the recovery mode the language options are totally alien to me, I tried even using Google translate but to no avail. I have tried: Re-booting by using the volume up+power button just so I can try wiping all data, but the language barrier is indeed a barrier. I think it was caused by: My inquisitiveness to acquaint myself with my new phone
