You will need to contact Lenovo Support. There should be a default code for the SIM lock and since this is a new device it will work. You can also return to where you purchased the phone or your cell phone carrier's store and request assistance setting up the phone with the SIM lock enabled.

It fails even if I do a hard reset!

This is because your SIM is locked and the security for it was tripped. It is an anti-theft measure. Try a default like 123456 or 000000 first. You will need to contact Lenovo Support for assistance or try AVG Mobilation if default codes do not work.

Infinix hot note has an issue with privacy protection password. What do I do about it?

Privacy protection password. Can you help me resolve this issue. I don't want to lose my files

Try combinations with 6 digits that are familiar to you. Birthdays, addresses, kids ages at time of setup etc are all regularly used code combinations. Hard resetting will not remove the SIM lock. The only way to get around this is to figure out the 6 digit code or install new ROM. Unless you swapped SIM and still have the older active one, there is no way to disable the lock without the code and save your files.
