I'm using a Macbook Pro. I have the Visual Boy Advance emulator and I want cheats for Final Fantasy Tactics. How do I put the codes in?

Please help. It's really hard and this is my first laptop. I want to do this without breaking anything.

The Visual Boy Advance emulator lets you easily enter cheat codes so that you can complete your game. Entering codes in the emulator will not break the emulator, the game, or your shiny new Macbook Pro. However, you will want to make sure that you're using the official game cheat codes in your emulator -- while your laptop won't break, fake cheat codes will not work in the emulator and it will be a waste of time. Click this link to learn all of the official Gameshark cheat codes for Final Fantasy Tactics. Once you've gotten some cheat codes that you'd like to try in your game, follow the simple steps below to use them:

GBA cheats are not registering?

When I go to input the cheat and press add, it does not add it. this is for Pokemon emerald. I have Pokemon silver for the same emulator and it works just fine with that file.

Can I break a cheat code that broke my game?

P.S. If your emulator requires you to select the source of cheat codes, please do not forget to do so.
