Same as above. Please answer as soon as possible.

To unlock your Moto G2 Lollipop version pattern lock without doing a hard reset you need to first shut the phone off and then turn it back on. While the phone is starting up you need to repeatedly and rapidly press on the home button until the password screen and keypad screen appears. You should then be able to access the home screens. Quickly access the setting app and then go to Accounts and clear all accounts except for the Google account which is your main account. Quickly flick the power button on and off again to get the user name and password fields for Google to appear on your screen. Enter your details and create your new password or pattern.

If you can't use your Google Account as a password on the Nexus 5, you will have to hard reset the device. Press and hold the Volume Down, Volume Up, and Power buttons at the same time. This will bring you into the Recovery Menu where you can hard reset the device. It will wipe away all your apps and data but you will be able to at least access your Nexus 5 again.

Device model: Moto G2, Lollipop version. I've set a new pattern lock but forgot it. I tried different combinations and it didn't work. I need to unlock it without erasing my data.

In the top answer on this page, you can read how to access the Settings Menu quickly to disable the pinlock. You may have to turn the phone off and on again a few times before you get into the Settings quickly enough using the Home Button but it does work.

I forgot my pattern on my Moto G2 2nd generation?

It's not a paid app. It's the normal default lock screen (pattern) any ideas?

You can see in this Youtube Tutorial how to basically hack into your phone just typing in a bunch of characters. What happens on the 5.1 Lollipop OS is that is gets confused and disables itself. Try it to see if you did not receive the patch for the OS and get in the phone.

I forgot my password Moto G Lollipop version upgraded?

Please can you help to recover it, its very important. I have tried: I tried to open the phone but it didn't. I think it was caused by: I forgot the password

Try the YouTube Tutorial method posted above on this page. Your Lollipop upgrade hopefully did not get the patched version so that you can fool the pinlock using a bunch of characters.

I have a Moto G2 2nd gen Android phone, I entered a new pattern lock but forgot my pattern lock, I tried to unlock it number of times, I want my phone unlocked without losing my data from my phone?

I have a Moto G2 2nd gen Android phone, I entered a new pattern lock but forgot my pattern lock, I tried to unlock it number of times, I want my phone unlocked without losing my data from my phone

Either try the method mentioned in the top answer about turning the phone off and accessing the home screen or use the numerous characters method shown in the YouTube Tutorial. In the future, write down your pattern lock or use a pin that you are familiar with. When you hard reset a Lollipop OS, it requires that you install a new Stock ROM to use the phone again.

My screen is not working, I know the password but unable to access?

Moto G gen2, screen is not working and I want to unlock the screen or remove the number lock. Request for help

Without your screen working and the phone locked, you will not be able to access the phone through the PC. You can try the ADB tools method but it still may not unlock the device because of that pinlock. Sometimes when you hard reset the phone, the screen comes back to life. If you dropped the phone and that is why the screen is black, there is a trick. Remove the back cover and battery. Press your fingers all over the back of the phone as if you were squeezing air out of a ziplock bag. Turn your phone back on and the screen may work again if it was just a loose connection.

I need to bypass the password without resetting my Motorola e 2nd gen, I don't currently have the phone on me?

Bypass password without doing a reset. I have tried: SMS recovery software but I don't think the USB debugging feature is on. I think it was caused by: Wife and I share the phone

With your Moto E Second Generation, try entering the last 4 digits of your phone number or 1234. You will need the device to do this though. If you can, call your wife and walk her through accessing the menu while she is on the phone with you. She can disable the pinlock this way in the settings.
