How to switch my service Galaxy S3 sprint edition to a phone that takes a SIM?

My Galaxy is broken and I have a new sprint phone that takes a SIM but the Galaxy's tray is no where to b found

As I understand your question that your old phone got broken and you have another phone from sprint which is just new. However, you cannot insert the SIM as you cannot find where is the SIM Tray.

Unfortunately, if the phone supports micro SIM card you really need to use a micro SIM card or look for the SIM tray as you might have misplaced it. Another way to resolve this problem of yours are:

1. Purchase a prepaid SIM card.

You can purchase a prepaid SIM card that is also a Nano. Pop the SIM it self out and use the tray for your original and use it to insert on your new sprint phone to continue using.

2. Purchase SIM kits.

You can purchase SIM tray kit from any mobile stores in malls and even online. Here is an example of a SIM tray kit. It is called adapter but it is the same: http://www.amazon.com/Converter-Adapter-Standard-iPhone-Opener/dp/B00B5KXRZO/ref=sr_1_8?i.e.=UTF8&qid=1396261389&sr=8-8&keywords=SIM+tray

3. Contact Sprint

You can also try to contact sprint and request to change the phone that you have. Request for a phone that is compatible with Nano and not Micro SIM cards. Any way that can work for the type of your SIM.

Any of the three options will work for you and depends to where you wanted to do. But if I were to choose, I'd rather go for option 1 as it is the fastest way to get a SIM tray for your phone.

On the sprint versions Samsung Galaxy S3 there does not have a SIM tray located on the device. I myself have tried to locate the SIM tray but there was no SIM card tray to be found but also the device does in fact have an SD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 does have a SIM card tray located on it so that you can add a SIM card but the SIM card is not necessary on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Sprint version which is the device that I am currently using at this current time.
