How to solve the problem of gurgling sound when singing?

I am a musician and singing has always been a part of my work/life. About 2 years ago I started to produce a gurgling sound when trying to sing. It is only in a certain range of notes (though this changes) and if I "sing through it" for awhile it goes away.

The gurgling sound produced is mainly produced when you are singing out of your vocal range or if your vocal cords are not fully prepared or opened up for certain notes. Also, you could be straining your voice or making use of inappropriate vocal techniques in reaching certain notes which can affect your vocal quality. The only way to work this out is to maintain proper vocal hygiene, proper hydration, and regular voice exercises to explore and get comfortable with different pitch ranges and styles.

Gurgling/hoarseness when singing?

Hi, I've been singing for years with no problem, but in the last few months I've noticed a "gurgling" and hoarseness more often. I just got checked by my ENT; my vocal cords are fine, but I have acid reflux. I've lost 25 pounds, and the voice is getting better, but it doesn't have the power it used to. I'm 62, but I'm hoping I still have some good years of singing left! Thank you!

When I sing my throat tightens and sometimes I feel like I have enough breath but don't how to prevent this from happening?

When I am singing my throat always tightens. I am a soprano in a choir and sometimes I can hit the high notes sometimes I can't. How can I always hit the high notes every time? Also when I sing sometimes my voice cracks. Sometimes I put to much pressure on my voice. Is their any way I can stop doing this bad habit and also how to prevent my voice from cracking?. I have tried: I have tried not to put not that much pressure on my voice but sometimes I end up putting a lot of pressure on my voice like screaming.. I think it was caused by: Even though sometimes I can sing high sometimes I want to sing high right all the time so I keeping pushing my voice past the limits which I think causes the cracks and throat tightness.
