Some files in memory card can't be deleted. I tried to format it, but I can't?

I have some files that can be deleted, but there is also a folder with them that I can't delete. Can you help me delete this folder?

Running a program or a file from the folder you want to delete causes this issue. In this event, you'll need to close the running process and then try to remove the folder again.

If you're still unable to remove the folder, it's probably a virus that's causing this problem. In this case, the best option is to use an antivirus program to scan the folder for possible malware and viruses.

Deleting the imaginary memory from a USB flash drive?

Dear Sir, I bought a USB flash drive. I thought it was going to have 2TB memory but when I test it with the H2testw program it ended up with only 7.1GB of the data is OK. Rest of the data was corrupted and lost. So it means it has only 7.1GB memory, rest of the memory is imaginary. But it shows 1.9TB in properties. I want to change it, so do you know how to delete the imaginary memory from it and make it appear as it is real. I tried with cmd "attrib -s -h -r /s /d. But I couldn't find and hidden software that makes it writing data over and over like it is 2TB memory. Thank you for helping. Best Regards

My SD card contains many folders. In one of the folders it says Entertainment->Songs-> I have multiple folders (containing mp3 files in it) and mp3 files individually. Here in PC, I'm able to view mp3 files in few folders and other folders just show empty. Also, mp3 files which are individually are also not seen except one file. But all data I'm able to view on my phone.

I wrote files to a directory I created on a 16GB Flash drive in Windows XP but they don't show now?

I have a friend whose computer had a terrible virus infection (7470 files infected). Tried clearing it with Avast Premier to no avail. He was running a modified XP known as LAST XP. Put a 16GB flash in which I had some files on already. Created a new directory on the flash, and copied all his docs and pics, etc. into that directory. Ejected the flash drive, and then loaded a new legit copy of Win XP SP3. This reformatted HD during installation. When I inserted the flash to copy docs, etc. back to his machine, the files and directory I had created don't show. Scanned it, no viruses. Tried Folder options to show hidden files, etc., but with no joy. Flash data size is shown when I click properties is right for all the files together, but it only shows files that were there before copying his stuff to the flash drive.

My computer is not detecting any flash disk. What can I do?

USB ports are not detecting any flash disk.

Check all of the ports on the computer, even the ones on the back. If none are working, then they are all defective or not connected. Open the computer case and look at the motherboard. The motherboard may have some free expansion-card slots and maybe a USB connector on it. The USB set of pins has 7 pins with one missing pin at the corner (a red thing on the right in the picture below). The expansion card slots are white in the picture below.

You may need to locate a model of your motherboard and find a manual for it to locate free slots and USB ports.

If you have an open USB port, then you may buy any internal card reader. Connect it to the USB port and put it into the front panel of your computer. Internal card readers should have 1 USB port free for use.

If you have a free slot, then you will need to find the type of slot it is. Let us assume that it is PCIe. If it is PCIe, then you can just buy a USB expansion card like this one. Connect it to the slot. The USB ports will be located at the back of the computer. You will be able to use them afterward.

Will I be able to recover my Nikon files after using SD card in Go pro?

After taking about 200 pics with my D60, I switched the SD card to Go pro in order to test it, now my old pics are hidden. Can I get to see them using the same steps as above? Not a virus but an autorun issue (I think) - each device is installing its own stuff and it just refuses to see anything else on the storage space
