Unfortunately, you cannot share your Samsung Galaxy S3 screen or be mirrored in your Xbox 360. Xbox is not capable of mirroring such contents from a mobile phone screen to a larger screen. If you wanted to mirror your phone screen to a larger screen, you can simply use an MHL converter.

Remember that the Xbox360 is a gaming console and it is not a mirroring adapter.

No, the screen mirror image that is compatible with the Xbox 360 will only allow you to be able to mirror the image of a game that is played through Xbox 360. I myself have tried what you are suggesting and never got anywhere at this time. Instead, you can in fact mirror your phones image to the Xbox 1 being that they have the new software to support the mirroring.

My S3 touchscreen won't work although the back, menu and central buttons, volume control, etc. do. I opened it up and reattached the piece in the bottom left corner as I was told to, but it still won't work. Any ideas? Can I mirror the screen on my laptop to unlock it and access my phone temporarily?

Possible water damage - it was sitting next to a pool of water.
