How to reduce oil skin and sub-clinical acne on forehead?

My forehead is producing a lot of oil, hence why I believe the sub-clinical acne has been formed around the forehead area only.. . Is there a way for me to treat the sub-clinical acne and also the production of excess oils?. I have tried: Dermatological face wash, microfoliants, exfoliates, detoxifying clay mask. I think it was caused by: Hormones, stress, unhealthy food options, lack of sleep, dehydration

I am putting two dermatologist-prescribed things for acne. I think it's causing oily skin?

Should I stop these prescriptions cold turkey or call my dermatologist before I do anything? What do you think? Do you know anything that is the best to prevent oily skin?. I have tried: I have tried a day or two of not using these skin creams/ointments. Seems that my skin is less irritated but not sure.. I think it was caused by: I think it is one or both of my prescriptions, but don't want to break out really badly.

If the prescriptions are from the same doctor, then you should contact him or her immediately and do not interrupt or change the treatment plan until you hear his or her urgent advice over the phone or see him or her at the appointment. If you did interrupt the treatment (as in this example), inform the doctor immediately about it!

If the prescriptions are from different doctors, then it may cause serious trouble. Never start treatment with several doctors solving the same problem. Choose only one doctor whom you trust more, stop using the other product, and contact him or her about further actions.

The best treatment for oily skin can only be prescribed by a professional dermatologist. Folk remedies (check the article for that and an answer) can be used to address problems with the skin, but they are not a cure or treatment.
