How can I move pictures from my Samsung Galaxy Note3 to my laptop?

Ad

To move pictures from your Samsung Galaxy Note3 to your laptop, you will need to install specialized drivers that allow your laptop to recognize your Android phone. Thankfully, since you own a Samsung device, this won't be too difficult. To install these drivers (and a great syncing application that will allow you to effortlessly transfer pictures between your two devices), click this link to download and install the original Samsung Kies. Once it's downloaded and installed, plug your Samsung Galaxy Note3 into your computer. Samsung Kies will automatically open; follow the onscreen instructions to pair your phone and your computer. You will now be able to transfer your Galaxy Note3's pictures to your computer, and you can also sync music, videos, and other files from either device to the other.

My Note3 is showing up as a portable media device?

When I connect my Note3 to my laptop, it reads it as a portable media player and not a portable storage device. It will not show any files at the moment. I've had it connected as a portable storage device before and could access all my folders and all files EXCEPT my photos, so my questions are how do I change how my laptop reads my Note3 and how do I access my photos once I can get back into my folders?

Hi, instead of seeing Samsung Galaxy in my list of Portable Devices, I only see SM-N900V Portable Media Player?

I'm trying to transfer my pics from my Samsung Galaxy Note3 to my PC. When I connect my phone to the computer, I see "Portable Media Player" listed instead of Samsung Galaxy Note3.. I have tried: I've opened Windows Media Player - nothing. I've opened the "Computer" where I see all of my drives as well as my external hard drive. Under Portable Devices, I see "Portable Media Player" - not Samsung. I think it was caused by: I don't know . . that's why I'm asking You!
