How to fix my bruised LEFT vocal cord, post surgery about 1 month 2 weeks ago?
The doctor bruised my LEFT vocal cord when doing an op. He had to cut my throat in order to send a pipe down to get a biopsy of the hylar of the left lung. I need a strong and loud voice for my job, it really is affecting the quality of my life. The article details sore throats and vocals cords that are hurt from over use NOT bruised post surgery The ENT doctor said it is bruised and the nerves will take their own sweet time to heal. This is awful news as I need my voice for my job. I have tried: I have bought and I am using a diffuser. I am using essential oils like eucalyptus and a tuberculosis oil but have NOT noted any difference in voice quality I do try to NOT speak and if I must then softly and without straining the voice I do enjoy a ginger in my juices AND eat my food with cayenne pepper and turmeric [lots of it]. I also do eat raw garlic when I can stomach it [hate the after taste, although the actual eating of it is nice at the time]. I think it was caused by: THE OPERATION on the left hylar of the lung to do a biopsy I have an auto immune disease called sarcoidosis
