If the phone is asking you to swipe your finger up and down but not reading it properly, clean the screen with rubbing alcohol and wash your hands to remove excess oils. It can take several attempts before it works properly.

I seem to have administrative rights issue with turning off my password on my phone?

I had my company emails on my phone, now I don't, but I cannot get rid of the password because of admin rights? Any thoughts on how to fix?

Hard reset the phone. Otherwise, contact the IT support of your company email to ask how to remove the permissions for your phone. If you hard reset it, you will wipe everything out so use Kies to transfer important data.
