Did you know that the Samsung Galaxy Note2 has a built in Emoji keyboard? Here are the steps on how you can use the built-in emoji keyboard on your phone.

1. On your home screen, go to applications then look for the settings and open it.

2. In the settings menu, look for the Language and Input and check the iWnn IME. Once you have checked the box for it to be enabled, simply exit to go back in your home screen.

3. Go to the messages on your phone screen then try to compose a message then check the smileys. Now, you will not see any smileys there as you will see now the Android Emoji

If your phone does not have an iWnn IME just in case. Go to your Play store then search for the application of iWnn IME and download then install it on your phone. Do the same steps as above and you should have an Android Emoji.

4. After you have installed the applications on your phone. Do not launch the Messaging application if you wanted to text someone, instead launch the GO SMS PRO to compose messages.

5. While you are composing messages and wants to insert and Emoji, simply hit the smiley on your the left side of the screen and select the Emoji that you wanted to insert and have fun using it.

It is best that you set the GO SMS PRO as a default Messaging app rather than the pre installed for you not to get confused which you are going to use to compose.

  • You might have the pen mode enabled. If you see a microphone icon somewhere on the screen when you open your messaging application, then you need to tap and hold it.
  • Press the home button. Tap on "Apps", "Settings", "My device" (optional), and "Language & input". Check if the default keyboard ("Samsung keyboard") is installed.
  • Open a messaging application. Swipe the screen down from the top. Tap on "Choose Input method". Tap on "Samsung keyboard".
  • Uninstall some latest applications. One of the perpetrators that hides the keyboard can be DU Battery Saver.
  • Lastly, you can hard-reset your device (Grand is similar to Note2 in that aspect).
