How do I unlock my Samsung tab S2 when I forgot my backup password and my tabs WiFi is off?

The fingerprint scanner could not recognize my fingerprint so it went to backup password but its been a long time since I used the backup password so I have forgotten it.

I forgot the pin on my Samsung Tab 4. x?

How can I reset it without erasing the device. I used Android Manager and it says a pin exist so won't let me change it. I have tried: Android device manager. I think it was caused by: Left it a while, came back and totally forgot the pin
