For some reason after the last big Samsung update I have to reinstall my pop3 email?

It will just stop loading emails without any error message - I would like a permanent solution. Any ideas?

This happened to most people after the Samsung update, specifically if they were using an email app that was not Gmail. Go into Settings and find Auto Sync or Sync All per email app that you use. If this still causes the error of not accessing the server, hard reset because people reported this fixed a host of problems after the Samsung update.

Hi. I keep getting alerts: Unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. No response from server?

is it my phone that is causing the issue?

The domain may have expired or you have the incorrect server connections. Delete the email set up and then manually set up the process again following the steps in the VisiHow article on this page. You will want to manual set up the app to make sure that you are on the right server settings.

First, is your Comcast account in good standing. Non payment or excessive Spam can block the email service and you would need to contact Comcast directly to resolve the issue. Comcast notoriously also has server issues so this could be your situation. Still go into your settings and make sure you are set to Sync. To see if it a Comcast problem, access the email from a PC. If you can connect on the PC and Sync is not resolving the issue contact Customer Support. You will get the generic canned "Clear your cookies" so make sure you go the Application Manager and select the app to wipe cache then wipe the Cache partition from Recovery Mode. This way you can tell them that you already did all that for troubleshooting.

My Samsung Galaxy 3 will only sync once and the only way to get email again is to remove and reset up email box at which time it syncs once, give me my email and will not sync again until account is removed and set up again?

Same as above. It is a pop account and all settings are correct because it works once!

Switch to using Imap which is far more stable for syncing solutions. Also, check if there are any new updates for your email app or if it was recently updated because that can change the Sync options which you will have to set up in the app as well as phone settings.

I've had to reset my password several times lately due to suspect activity. I can access email on computer but get sending failed message when trying on Samsung?

Why can't I send when I can receive?

Some email apps like Yahoo require you to generate a one time app password before the email app will work efficiently. You would have to find this in the email settings on your PC. You will also want to check your server for outgoing messages to make sure you are set up correctly.

Trying to delete my email account but when I go to settings there is nothing about deleting or a trash can?

Can't find any thing about deleting my email account on the settings on my Samsung 3

Go to Settings then Accounts and find usually at the top "Email". Click in the old account and at the bottom of the screen choose Remove Account. If you are trying to delete a Gmail it will be in the Google Folder under accounts. Once again select the one you want to delete and then click Remove Account.
