Moving your emails to your Samsung Galaxy S5 Email application's Trash folder is a great way to clear up your inbox so you can focus on the most important emails you receive, but it doesn't delete them from your device permanently. To delete the emails inside your Trash Folder permanently, you can follow these simple instructions:

Now go back to your Email application and check to make sure that your Trash folder is empty. If it is, you are all set until you start deleting emails from your inbox again; they will still accumulate in your Trash Folder, and to delete them you will have to repeat this process. If your deleted emails are still in the Trash folder after you follow the above instructions, you will need to go back into your Trash folder, tap and hold each individual email that you want to delete, and tap Delete from the context menu that appears after holding the email for a few seconds.
