How did you come up with the conclusion that tea tree oil, mint, bay leaves and cucumbers can be a repellent to cockroaches?

I want to know the experiment you did to come up with that conclusion and the research you did too. I just want to use this article as a basis or a source for my review of the related literature. I have tried: For I really need this research and the article itself is interesting.
