How do I get access to Hotspot in Settings?

I have a Sprint Galaxy S4 Spark (SPH-L720T). I have rooted the phone but otherwise still stock. I have installed Xposed Framework and Xtether. Activated and rebooted my phone. When I go under Settings and More Networks, there is no option for Mobile Hotspot

If you have upgraded to Lollipop OS, the Xposed Framework does not support this version. Sometimes, though, you will need to reboot several times before you finally are able to use your hotspot. When you rooted the phone, any framework from Sprint that is left behind will block. Put your phone into Recovery Mode and choose Wipe Cache Partition.

I couldn't find the connectivity option?

OK., well I went to my settings and I couldn't find connectivity. I am trying to move music and pictures from my LG G3 to my new laptop. Except it won't let me.

On the LG G3, you would connect the phone to the PC and then tap the USB icon that will appear in the Notification Bar. Select Media Sync to move images and videos. The videos will need to be DMR free in order to be moved to the PC.

Put your phone into Recovery Mode and choose Wipe Cache Partition. You should always do this after a software OS upgrade to remove leftover conflicts from the previous version. The option "USB Tethering" is off, how can I turn it on?

Hi, I want to make a backup of my LG G2, but I can't transfer anything to my PC. When I connect my phone to my PC it doesn't show as a drive or something and when I start LG Suite, specially made to transfer media to your PC, it can't find it. Neither with the WiFi connection. So I searched online and found that I have to turn the USB tethering on... of course there is an other problem. The option to turn it on is greyed out and can't be turned on. How do I fix this?

Was this helpful? Yes | No | I need help

Is your cable damaged? The USB tethering option is turned on once you connect to the PC. Then swipe down the notification bar and it will be there unless the cable is damaged. Also, make sure you have the latest version of LG's PC Suite.

Download the Google Photo's App. Sync to backup all photos to Google's storage cloud. In the settings of the app there is an option to remove photos after they are backed up to the cloud. You can do this while on vacation also to keep taking photos but removing them from your storage. You can always go to the Google Photos website on the PC and find them or in the app but they will not be in your gallery after they are backed up.

Check to make sure you do not have Data Restrictions enabled. It is found under Security>Data. If you are using a device from Vodafone, you will need to root the phone to use tethering. There are some Google Play apps specifically for Mi devices and tethering. Just research the app before you install it as some of them brick the Mi devices so I am hesitant to recommend one.

My LG Stylo doesn't have a "Connectivity" button?

Hi, I can't copy files from my LG Stylo to my computer anymore (It worked fine up until 2 weeks ago). However, I can charge it when the USB cable is connected. I was encouraged to see your solution but the problem is that "Connectivity" isn't a category in my settings. Is there some other place where I can uncheck "charge only?". . Thanks.
