How can I make a vibration in my voice?

I heard many singers, and their voice vibrates when singing. How can I do that?

What you are referring to is called vibrato. It is what happens when you quickly tense up and then relax your vocal cords to make them 'vibrate', by alternating from two pitches that are very close together. This is something that takes quite a bit of practice to master, but using vibrato will significantly improve your singing voice - but only if used properly. Excessive and improper use of vibrato can actually hurt your voice, and while difficult to master, the more important thing is in knowing when to use it. Too much vibrato is just as bad as no vibrato.

To practice vibrato, try working your voice between two almost identical pitches. Work on shifting pitches, but also not always carrying the vibrato with your voice to the next pitch. Truly gifted singers will use vibrato in their singing voice only when appropriate, and yet still hang on pure notes as well. This is one key thing that sets a professional singer apart from someone who has not had formal training, or who isn't truly a professional.

Of course, that's not to say that your favorite artist or pop star might not always sing with vibrato, but using vibrato isn't what makes a great singer. It's knowing when not to use it that makes the difference.

Your voice will usually act up if you are a young man going through puberty, or an older woman going through menopause. Any other 'acting' up is due to external factors, such as temperature, smoking, colds, or even the food you ate.

Try Singing or humming songs that are high pitch. Make sure you always warm up before doing so, because your vocal cords can become fragile and damaged. Perhaps a "lip buzz" exercise might do the job.

A friend as described my voice as if it felt like being in an oddly chilling graveyard because it's quiet and soothing but at the same time they feel goosebumps. I have tried: I've tried using loud mics but I get nervous and move away and my voice shakes. my voice is just too silent that sometimes when the guitar is too loud it just seems like humming. I think it was caused by: Lack of practice? I also don't know how to use vibrato with my voice
