How can I use voice recognition on Samsung galaxys4 mini using Plantronics voyager legend?

I am a paraplegic in a wheelchair. I had to replace my LG Bluetooth headset with a Plantronics, is there a way to use the S voice hands-free? I replaced my LG HBS 760 headset with the Plantronics voyager legend it is difficult to have to press the s voice key to send or read a text or do a voice without pressing the search key to ask a question? Please help!. I have tried: I made sure it was in hands-free mode multiple times each time I would ask it to send a memo or look something up, the only way it will do any of these things is if I manually press the s voice, voice search, chrome, messaging key etc... I think it was caused by: I thought this headset had the ability to do these functions as my old headset did but I need to know if this is an actual feature or if it is wishful thinking on my part.
