How do I recover my security code on Nokia Asha501 dual SIM?

Ad

You can't recover an old security code on a Nokia Asha501 dual SIM, you can only create a new one. However, Nokia phone owners are in luck because the company has a Nokia Lock Code Tool that allows you to easily and quickly create a new Master Code to replace the one that you forgot. All you have to do is enter your phone's IMEI number. You will be provided with a Master Code that unlocks the phone. The IMEI number you enter is immediately wiped from the memory of the Nokia Lock Code Tool and then you simply enter the Master Code and follow the prompts to reset the phone with your new security code.

Use your Google Account to unlock your phone. You may have to make several attempts before you get the option to click Forgot Password but this will allow you to use the Google Account. If you do not remember what that was then go to Google Accounts Recovery and go through the steps to retrieve your forgotten Google Account credentials.

You will have to hard reset the phone because you did not set up any Google Account yet. When you set up your pinlock it should have requested that you link it with a Google Account or AVG Security. Since you did not do this the only option is to hard reset the phone.

Put in the old SIM card and turn off the SIM lock. If people are advising to enter your IMEI code they are probably talking about the unlock tool in the top answer. If you have your IMEI number then you should try the unlock tool if you can't use your old SIM card to disable that lock.

How to break pin code of Asha 501?

Hi sir, my Nokia Asha 501 is switched off, but when I open my phone it is asking for a pin code which I don't know. Can you please help me to open my phone.

Try 12345 first since you never set up a PIN code. If this does not work then see if you can open the phone using your Google Account. Contact your phone carrier if this does not work because it may be a SIM lock set up by the carrier.

Use your Google Account. 12345 might work but not all the time as a master code but at least try it before you hard reset the device. One thing you could do is use the unlock tool in the top answer and then install the new OS for the phone.

I can't remember my Nokia Asha 501 password what should I do to recover

There is no way to recover a password like this. You can recover your Google Account password and use that to unlock your phone if you get the option to use your Google Account. Beyond this maybe the unlock tool will work or you will have to send your phone into Nokia Care for service because this phone requires you to use the keypad to hard reset with codes.

Try using codes that you think could be close. Write down each pin you try and then see if you can come up with the correct one. The Nokia 501 is impossible to hard reset if it is locked other than installing the new stock ROM for your Nokia Asha 501.

If you have a Nokia device you will need to be signed into both your Nokia and Windows Accounts before you can install any apps. You also may be restricted on how much you can install currently because your Windows account is not in good standing due to too much SPAM for example. Make sure you are connected to WiFi before you install any apps as this also can stop apps from downloading.
