I have a Polaroid PMID 10C tablet, and the touch screen is not functioning?

Can I use this "reflash" procedure to fix this?. I have tried: Local technician says to replace the touch screen, but it still turns on, so why would I replace the screen itself?. I think it was caused by: It is a fairly new tablet, so don't know

No, reflashing will not probably fix it. The technician is right. Touch screens and LCD screens are two different parts. You need to replace just the touch screen. The LCD (the screen itself) needs no replacement. If it is a new tablet, then it might be still on warranty; and the repairs will be free.
