How can I overcome my Android privacy protection password lock?

I set up my phone with Sophos a privacy protection password lock. Unfortunately, the SMS unlock feature does not work. My phone is the Elephone P7000. I have lost the password. I also cannot do a factory reset as the recovery menu is in Chinese. I have tried: Reloaded the stock firmware for the device.. I think it was caused by: SIM change.
