It is hard to predict how the combination of one's Internet service provider limitations, the router ports, and specific torrent files will be affected by the changes. We take a risk by changing these parameters. If changing the parameters from the article makes the downloads worse, then try the parameters in the first question on this Web page (just scroll up a bit from here).
