You can do this wirelessly, with Samsung Smart View. This is because the Tab 3 does not support AllShare or MHL connectivity, so you will need to connect wirelessly. To do this, follow these steps:

You can easily mirror the screen from your Samsung Tab 3 wirelessly to any compatible TV that supports Samsung Smart View. Just follow the steps provided earlier in this Q&A, and you should be able to easily connect. Note that the Tab 3 does only supports an output resolution of 720p, which is why it can not natively output HD to support this function, and requires a wireless connection at a lower standard.

Trying to connect my Galaxy tab 10.2 with my smart TV and Samsung Smart View?

They are connected to the same WiFi network, but the app says "no TV found".. I have tried: Just refreshing, nothing more to do. I think it was caused by: I have no idea. does the TV need to be a Samsung? I have an LG TV. and Google Chromecast. I need the app as my tab 10.2 doesn't allow me to cast my screen
