How to Access YouTube Settings on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Robert, Eng
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to access the settings on your 'YouTube' application using the iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock your phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, press the 'Lock' button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the 'Home' button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the 'YouTube' icon on your 'Home screen'.
In this example, the 'Home screen' is customized and might look a bit different. The icon is red framed with a triangle inside of a white square. Tap it once to open the application.
Tap the icon with three horizontal lines at the top left of the screen to bring up the main menu.
It should automatically take us to the 'What to watch' page which will be either specifically recommended for us and the videos we've watched if we're signed in, or if we're not signed in, it will be the most watched or most popular videos on YouTube at that time. We can refer to the article on how to sign-in to 'YouTube' on the iPhone 6 if we don't know how to do so.
Tap on the small gear icon at the top right of the screen to go to the 'Settings' page.
As we can see, there are a lot of sections in the options to choose from here i.e..
YouTube settings, Privacy settings, Upload settings, and about. Tap on any of the buttons to change that particular setting.
Tap the gray arrow in the top left corner to go back.
In this example, we've tapped on the 'Add a TV' settings page.
To go back to our main screen, we should tap the icon with three horizontal lines in the top left corner.
Tap on the icon that looks like a gray house and says 'What to Watch' at the top left of the screen.
This will take us to the main screen that we started at.
Now you know how to access settings using the 'YouTube' application on the iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments please enter them below. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
