Hide the Mobile Hotspot for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to hide your WiFi hotspot on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. In order to have a hidden mobile hotspot, you need to check one box. We're going to show you where that box is.
First thing we need to do is swipe down from the top of our Galaxy Tab.
Then, tap on the gear-shaped icon in the upper-right area.
This will open up our "Settings" menu.
Tap on the fourth option on the left side, "Mobile hotspot and tethering".
Now, tap on the "Mobile Hotspot" section.
Then, tap on the little "MORE" icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Tapping once on "MORE" will give you three options.
Tap on "Configure Mobile Hotspot".
Tap on the "Hide my device" checkbox to check the option.
Checking "Hide my device" means that your device will no longer show up on the list of available devices.
Next, tap on the toggle next to "Off" at the top of the screen.
This will turn on your WiFi hotspot. You will receive a pop-up window reading "Turning on Mobile Hotspot will turn off WiFi".
Tap on "OK".
Now, your mobile hotspot has been turned on.
In order to connect to the mobile hotspot, take another device.
For this tutorial, let's use an iPhone.
On the iPhone, tap on the "Settings" icon.
Then, tap on "WiFi".
Once you tap on "WiFi", you will see that the device "VisiHow" does not show up.
In order to connect to the "VisiHow" WiFi, tap on "Other..."
Once you tap on "Other...", type the name of the network.
It is "VisiHow" in this tutorial.
Then, tap on the "Security" section.
Tap the chosen security for the network.
It is the WPA2 security in this video.
Then, tap on the "Other Networks" back arrow.
Now, enter the password.
The password is shown on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 device. In this case, this is "ultq3625".
Type the password on the iPhone.
Then, tap on "Join" in the upper-right corner.
Once you've tapped "Join", you will be connected to the hidden network. You can also see that "iPhone" has appeared under "Connected devices". You can share the network with another person as well.
Then, just press the home button on the Galaxy Tab.
You will go back to your home screen. Begin using the device as normal.
