Hi - I did not realize that my email recycle bin had thousands of emails that I thought had been deleted. Is there any way to bulk erase the recycle bin?
It's a Galaxy S3. I've attached the phone to the computer but cannot see this folder. Doing this a few at a time will take forever. It's my rogers.com email account.
There isn't a way to bulk erase the recycle bin on your Samsung Galaxy S3, but you can go to Rogers.com on your computer, log into your account, and erase the recycle bin there. In the future, you can press and hold the email and tap Delete so you don't need to empty the recycle bin manually -- the email will be permanently deleted instead.

I was in a remote area where the cellphone did not work and now that I am in a good cell area, my email will not download or sync.
Are you manually force syncing? Syncing can take up to 5 minutes sometimes. Restart your phone and then manually sync again. Sometimes switching Data off and on can also get the phone to recognize the sync, especially if you have been out of range.
Deleted message is available in recycle bin?
I sync my Galaxy S3 phone to the laptop. I deleted some messages by laptop and they are not in bin as well but in phone they are still available. I want to remove them from my phone memory. how can I do this ?
If you have gone into the Recycle Bin and manually deleted but they still show up, you can put your phone in Recovery Mode like you are doing a hard reset and wipe the cache partition. This will completely delete the email. Another option is if you have the email app like Gmail app, go into that app and see if that has the emails. Delete them from in there and then sync both the app and the POP/IMAP email.

In the POP/IMAP app, access through phone Settings>Accounts. You will find a Settings option. Click that and choose the email you wish to stop the download on. At the bottom click Load More Settings and then uncheck the Auto-download.

You can choose Auto Set Up. If you still want to manually set up Arclab.com has a list of the servers for setting up an email account. Specific email accounts may have a different server on the SMTP setting.

First, make sure that you are connected to WiFi or data such as not in Airplane Mode. The email may also not be served on the POP3. For instance, my Outlook gave me that error on POP3 but when I switched to IMAP it worked. I also had to input the password because I was using the wrong one since I forgot I had recently updated it. If your connection is good, switch to IMAP or POP3 if you were trying the other program.
