Hi! I've been in a long distance relationship for a year now. He has been constantly in communication with me everyday. But in the last two weeks, I've noticed he has somewhat pulled back and been calling and texting less. What should I do?
We are in different time zones and this being so, his nights are my days (thus hours at work) and vice versa. But for one year now, we have been constantly in communication several times though out the day through texts, calls and video calls. Sometimes I call but most of the time he initiates the contact. He has told me he will be coming for a visit on April next year and we agreed to be married by late 2017. The last two weeks, however have left me puzzled. I have been the one initiating contact. He says he either has a lot to do around the house, fixing his car, helping out friends, or is feeling ill, or the weather disrupts his internet signal. When we do talk, it is now only for a few minutes and not as long as the 1-2 hours we used to spend on the phone either. I want to be the supportive, understanding girlfriend and I know patience is not one of my strongest suits. How should I handle this? Could he be losing interest? I don't want him to think I don't trust him but his behavior is so unlike how he was for the past year. What should I do?
