Hello! My smartphone is going straight to voice mail, and I don't know how to fix that?

I don't know how to change my phone so it doesn't go straight to voicemail. I am hoping you can help me.

Here are some solutions to the problem

  • Press the home button. Tap on "Apps" > "Settings" > "Wireless and network" > "Mobile networks" > "Network operators" > "Search networks". Choose any carrier that you are not using. Then, press the home button, go over the menu options to choose the carrier that you are using. This will update the network.
  • Check your diversion settings. Tap on "Apps" > "Settings" > "Call settings" > "Voice call" > "Call forwarding". Uncheck "Always Forward".
  • Turn off the voicemail service by dialling a special short code specific to each carrier.
  • Press the home button. Tap on Phone. Tap on the triple-dot icon or press the menu button. Tap on "Settings". Disable "Voice over LTE".
  • Press the home button. Tap on Phone. Tap on the triple-dot icon or press the menu button. Tap on "Settings". Tap on the triple-dot icon or press the menu button. Tap on "Call barring" ("Blocking mode"). Disable call barring for calls.
  • Press the home button. Tap on Phone. Tap on the "Recent" category. Tap on the phone call that did not come through. Tap on the triple-dot icon or press the menu button. Tap on "Remove from reject list".

When I press and hold the top right button all that comes up are; power off, flight mode and restart?

Read above please, like I said above, I can't get to the power button just pushing the top right button. I have tried: Pushing the button on the top right like it says. I think it was caused by: I have no idea

I was just wondering how to adjust the volume. Is volume button on left or right side of the phone as you are looking at the screen?

When I press and hold the power button there is no option for mute

If your phone have a volume button, simply keep pressing the down (-) until you see the mute sign, or it vibrates.
