How do I turn off the hand free mode. I do not want my texts or incoming calls read to me?

It depends on the device you are using but this is more likely because you have selected the driving mode for your profile. This basically reads out most of the notifications so that you don't have to look at your device when you want to know who's contacting you.

Just go to profile settings and change it to the regular mode. If this still does not change it, you may have to go to each app and see how you have set the notification for each.

How to turn of voice for incoming messages and phone calls?

The reason that you are not seeing the driving mode on is because there may be another feature that is in fact activated on your device which is called TalkBack.

If you can see that your driving mode is not activated on your device then you are going to need to use the next option which will in fact be the TalkBack mode that will need to be turned off.

In order to turn off this feature follow the steps below:

-Go to settings

-Go to accessibility

-Go to TalkBack mode

-Turn off the option on your device by sliding it to the off position

This will turn off the feature that is reading our your messages and also your phone calls as they come into your device.
