This happens when you have not shared your phonebook details to your Gmail account. That means that as you type an address, it does not try to access your phonebook because of your current privacy settings.

Also, this happens when you have just cleared the internet history of your computer or device. It does not try to recall all of the previous addresses that you have typed in.

Samsung Note3: phantom trash email cannot be deleted from recycle bin?

In the folders it says I have 40 emails in the trash, but when I open the trash folder it shows nothing there. If I delete 3 new emails the list shows 43 and when I open the trash folder there are only the 3 emails that I just deleted in there. So when I delete these 3 from the recycle bin, the folders still states 40 in the brackets next to the recycle bin folder. The number in brackets also increases daily. How can I delete these phantom trash in the recycle bin? I have cleared cache and also deleted and re-installed the email account but the number of trash in recycle bin just keeps on increasing. Some items are covered for the Galaxy S3 but not the Note3. No solution is provided to delete the trash in the recycle bin. No solution is provided to ensure that settings on mobile is such that the problem does not re-occur.
