Get rid of É, È or è weird symbols when I type a question mark or quotes on my keyboard

Edited by vc, Doug Collins

Hi my name is Doug and you are watching VisiHow. Today I am going to show you a problem that has happened to me several times and I have figured out how to solve the problem. It happens when I am typing a word like "Hello?" and instead a crazy E symbol will appear like this: "Helloè". This article will show you how to get rid of the weird E characters either temporarily or permanently depending on your preference.

There are two ways to turn this off.
It is actually your alternate language settings for your keyboard in your control panel. The quick and easy way is to simply press and hold your Ctrl-SHIFT key. Now you can see my keyboard is working properly.

One way to solve the problem would be to remove this keyboard altogether, but what I am going to do is keep the keyboard but go under options.
You can see that there are two input methods: "US" and "Canadian Multilingual Standard".

I can add other keyboards if I want but in our case we just want to remove the "Canadian Multilingual Standard" input method.
