Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to find news using the 'YouTube' application on the iPhone 6.

Steps

    To begin, unlock your phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen

    Alternatively, press the 'Lock' button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the 'Home' button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Find the 'YouTube' icon on the 'Home screen'

    In this example, the 'Home screen' is customized and might look a bit different. The icon is red framed with a triangle inside of a white square that looks like a TV screen. Tap it once to open the application.

    Tap on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left corner of the screen

    Opening the application should have automatically taken us to the 'What to watch' page which will be either specifically recommended videos we've watched (if we're signed in), or if we're not signed in, it will be the most watched or most popular videos on YouTube at that time. We can refer to the article on how to sign in with 'YouTube' on the iPhone 6 if we don't know how to sign in.

    Scroll down to the bottom and find the 'Best of YouTube' section, and tap on the 'News' button to bring up videos in the news tag

    Scroll and find a video of interest
    .
    We're now on a page of videos with the news tag. We can see it's a tag because it has a '#' symbol in the title. 'Top Stories' has playlists that are indicated by the black bar on the right-hand side of the thumbnail. Tap a playlist once to begin watching all videos in that playlist. There is also videos and playlists of live news, FIFA officials, Israeli strikes, information about protests etc.

    Tap the 'More' button on the bottom of a category we're interested in to view more of that specific category

    This will bring up a few more videos. Tap on any video once to watch it.

    Alternatively, tapping the title will take us to a playlist of that particular topic
    .
    As an example, the news playlist will be much smaller than others because it is specific for certain topics, whereas the Paris open playlist has many more videos.

    To go back, tap the gray arrow in the top-left corner of the screen

    Scroll to the top of the menu and tap the 'What to Watch' button with a small house icon, which is the first option available
