    Double-tap the screen or press the power button at the top of the phone to unlock it

    Swipe up to unlock the phone

    This will bring up the main area. In this tutorial, the BlinkFeed is already open, which is how the phone should look when it is turned on and unlocked.

    Swipe right if BlinkFeed news is not on the screen

    This will bring out the "Highlights" menu, which gives the option to search for content by tapping the text box with "Search for highlights", see the highlights, or get to the settings menu.

    Tap the icon with three vertical dots to open up various options available in the settings menu

    Tap "Services & Apps"
    .
    A single press on "Services & Apps" will open up a menu with services and applications. The menu is always up-to-date. For this tutorial, Twitter and "Restaurant recommendations" have been recently updated.

    Tap the "Google+" line
    .
    It will launch the Google+ application. Google+ will warn you that it wants to obtain certain privileges in the phone. It will require to view the profile, view and manage its own configuration data in the Google Drive, manage and view Google+ posts, comments, and stream, and view the Google+ circles, people, and pages.

    Tap "Cancel" if the privileges should not be given to the application

    The button is located in the bottom left corner of the screen.

    Tap "Sign-in" to give the privileges and sign in with the associated e-mail account and password

    For this example, the VisiHow@gmail.com account will appear under the "Google+" line in the "Services & Apps" menu, and there will be a green box with a check next to it.

    Now, things can be added to BlinkFeed. For the tutorial, "Headline News", "Business", "Environment", and "Gaming" are going to be selected.

    It is "Headline News" for this example. Once the option loads, there will be the choice to select the location of headline news. As a lot of people are getting news from Associated Press and Reuters, the rest, The Huffington Post, Headline News, AFP, and Euronews, are going to be left unchecked.
