Forward SMS Messages to a Contact on HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to forward a message to another contact on an HTC One M8.


Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, press down on the screen

    Hold down, and swipe up. Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

    It is here that we need to find the messages icon

    It is located here. It is a white text box, with three green horizontal lines in the middle. Press down on this messages icon. It will open up our messages section. We are learning how to forward a message. To do that, we need a message.

    Let's choose a message

    Press down on one of these messages. It will bring up our message. This is not the most exciting message. But if we want to forward it to a friend. It might be more exciting. For example, it may have a location in it. It might be a web address, or something else important, that we need to forward it to another contact on our HTC One M8.

    Press down on the message

    The "Message options" menu will open.

    We need the word "Forward"
    .
    Press down on the word "Forward". It will pull up the exact message. We cannot send multiple messages this way. We can send multiple messages a different way, but not like this.

    To send the message, we need to select a contact to send it to

    To do that, click the icon in the far right-hand side of the screen. It is the outline of a head and shoulders. Press down on that. It will bring up our "PEOPLE" list. It will have all of the people we have saved on our HTC One M8, all of our contacts.

    We can select one, or multiple contacts
    .
    We can create a group, and send it to them. We only want to select one contact. Now, it says the number '1' right next to the word "DONE" on the bottom of the screen. That number shows how many people we are forwarding the message to. We want only one, so we are done. Press down on the word "DONE".

    The contact has been added
    .
    We have the message that we want to forward. All we have to do is send it, by pressing this icon here. It says "Slot 1" in blue, and has the image of a blue text box with three horizontal lines indicating movement. Press down on this, and it will forward our message. It will cost us money because it is an SMS message service of the phone. It's not a free service. Once we press down on this, we have successfully forwarded a message to another contact.
