Questions and Answers

Calls don't go to voicemail on my Lumia 535. It just rings?

I have a Lumia 535. I have set up my voicemail following the tutorial given when you call voicemail. I don't want to forward all my calls to voicemail, just for people to be able to leave a message if I don't answer, but even though I seem to have set everything up whenever I call my phone it just rings and rings and eventually says 'please call later'.

  • If your voicemail box is full, you will need to dial a carrier-specific number to delete messages to be able to receive messages.
  • Press the home button and swipe the screen left. Tap on "Settings". Tap on "mobile network". Next to "highest connection speed", select "2G" or "3G".
  • Contact your carrier to see if the voicemail option has been disabled or if it is available at all.
